…Ben Gurion. After being excited for over a year, it was very surreal to finally be in the Holy Land.
Everything at the airport went smoothly. I am starting to realize that a lot of what Westerners think of Israel is wrong. We have ideas of how they live as being really inconvenient (bag checks, airport screenings, etc.), but really, it’s just a part of life here. In anything, it makes you get places on time since you have to budget a little extra time!
Anyway, on the way to Jerusalem…
EDIT: Ben Gurion International is the name of the airport in Tel Aviv. He was Israel’s first PM. Everyone didn’t get the reference.
